Lyles (they/them or she/her) is a seasoned fundraising professional and Principal of Left Align Consulting based in Atlanta, GA. Since 2010, Lyles has helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for organizations in the social justice, progressive advocacy, and electoral organizing spaces. Lyles leverages their expertise in foundation and individual fundraising to move resources to the frontlines of gender, racial, and economic justice movements.

Priscilla Hung (she/ella/她) brings 25 years of experience in fundraising and philanthropy to advance equity and justice. She has mobilized resources and built fundraising capacity for 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) social justice organizations supporting community organizing, advocacy, civic engagement, leadership development, and cultural change. She is the former Executive Director of the Grassroots Institute for Fundraising Training, which was home to the Grassroots Fundraising Journal and Money for Our Movements: A Social Justice Fundraising Conference. Priscilla has a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley and Master of Public Administration from University of Southern California.

angélique nguyễn green (she/her/hers) brings over 13 years of experience leading high-performing fundraising teams at Left and progressive movement-aligned organizations. She has successfully shepherded them through various stages of the life cycle, from modernizing development operations and expanding the donor base of the Institute for Policy Studies and the Center for Law and Social Policy to creating the staffing and infrastructure to sustain the rapid growth of the National Domestic Workers Alliance and Popular Democracy. She aspires to grow the field of movement fundraisers seeking to build power and solidarity through transformational partnerships with institutional and individual donors.

Lily Schorr (she/her) is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in the progressive nonprofit sector. She brings deep expertise in both relationship-driven fundraising and strategic process design, with a proven track record in major gifts stewardship, donor database management, project management, and event planning. Driven by an unshakeable belief in a world where all people can prosper, Lily has dedicated her career to supporting the organizations that make that vision possible. Lily holds a JD from UNC School of Law and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Kitt Lyles (he/him) is a grant writing consultant based in Chicago, IL. Kitt has supported social justice movement organizations with grant writing, grants management, and fundraising strategy since 2019, in service of his commitment to equity and justice for all marginalized people. In that time, he has helped raise millions of dollars for organizations including Urban Peace Movement and MediaJustice by crafting expert grant proposals to private foundations and public funding programs. Kitt holds a BM in Jazz Studies from Northwestern University, and draws on his background as a professional musician to write with shrewd attention to detail and manage quick grant turnarounds with poise. He has led the crafting of proposals that won prestigious and competitive awards for clients of Left Align Consulting, including the 2024 Yield Giving Open Call.

Andrianna Hughes (she/her), based in Madrid, Spain, brings over 12 years of nonprofit fundraising and grant writing experience, with expertise in progressive advocacy and the arts. Drawing from her experience working in the development departments of cultural organizations across NYC and delivering high quality writing for a diverse set of clients at Left Align, Andrianna understands the challenges development teams face and the kind of support they most need to excel. Her academic background in literature and art history (including two Master’s degrees) has informed her approach to building compelling cases for funding that effectively translate an organization’s vision to philanthropic audiences.

Emily King (she/her) grew up in South Louisiana and now lives in Chicago, where she honed her fundraising skills as Development Director for a local organization dedicated to improving housing access for tenants and seniors. Driven by the belief that fundraising is a set of skills anyone can learn and put into practice to better the world around them, she leads fundraising and development operations projects for Left Align clients. Emily partners with organizations of all budget sizes to increase financial sustainability, professionalize and systematize back-end operations, and successfully launch new programs.

Leo Kallas (they/he) is an organizer and resource mobilizer based in Queens, NY. They have over a decade of experience working in nonprofits with a focus on moving resources to grassroots organizations in hyperlocal, national, and international contexts including most recently at Groundswell Fund and the Resourcing Refugee Leadership Initiative. He brings a diverse background encompassing program development, operations leadership, institutional and individual fundraising, grantmaking, narrative strategy, and on-the-ground organizing experience, enabling holistic support of his clients to build and scale sustainable development strategies. Leo is dedicated to building the systems and stories that make it easy (and even fun!) for social justice organizations to fund their work and create a better world.
